Almond / Trail Mix Replacement

Hello everyone...
My trainer has recently had me start eating almonds for mid-morning snack and trail mix afternoon snack. I have never been much of a fan of any type of nut. I struggled through getting them down yesterday, but would prefer to find an alternative that is not such a change in what I like. I am a very picky eater and there are just so many things that the smell and texture make my dry heave.
Any suggestions on substitutes for almonds and trail mix would be greatly appreciated.

what about a no granola, granola? Google RAWNOLA... it's really yummy and probably give you the boost you need.0

Ask your trainer! :P
But some semi-similar equivalents may be cottage cheese or cheese sticks? Or celery and peanut butter?
You may be able to choose veggie sticks or fruit, but they are lower calorie/protein and higher sugar.
It depends on if your trainer has you on an actual meal plan or if they are just giving you suggestions. If they're just suggestions, I can give you some more0 -
what about pistachios or something? if you don't like something, don't waste calories on it. I like the taste of almonds, but their texture is a bit odd. You could try slivered almonds or another kind of nut.0

Hard boiled eggs could give you a small protein boost.0

there are hundreds of alternatives, your personal trainer was probably just wanting to give you a guideline, he gave you a food that is easy to take on the go, has a little bit of protein for some energy and some good fats, try boiled eggs, or cottage cheese, or yogurt.....nuts are great but unless you are very careful about portion sizes it is really easy to get carried away and take in too many calories. just find a snack that works for you, make sure it has a little bit of protein and some fat is good too for satiety make you feel fuller longer.0
