Do you wait to stop the monitor after your heart rate has come down to your typical at rest rate or immediately after exercise is done? Just curious what everyone does???

My heart rate workout zone is anywhere from 106-142 for an effective cardio/fat burning session, okay? So, after i finish my workout (elliptical) I stretch and move slowly and when it get about to 90ish, I turn it off. My true resting heart rate is 40....that would take till bedtime....so I think you have to sorta pick when it feels like you have "recovered" and stop the HRM then.0

My trainer recently gave me cardio programs that include a cool down target heart range.. and once I reach the end of my cool down, then I turn my HRM off.0
