This morning my dear hubby and I cycled to our next town and back, a round trip of 16km.

My NSV was being able to wear a cyclist's jersey for the first time, and it wasn't even tight!

His NSV was making it all the way there and back without stopping and then saying, "That's getting easier every time. I'm not even aching."

Now....if I can just get him riding a little faster! But I really am thrilled with his loving support. After all, he did get out of bed at 6am just to ride with me.

That is simply amazing! I used to cycle quite a bit but the guys I was riding with had no stamina, we'd get halfway into a ride or just arrive at the trail head (I refused to DRIVE to a trail to walk on, in the city at least) and then they'd need a 15 minute break while I could have easily made it on the old rail-bed to the next city/town/ village whatever they call themselves these days before stopping for a much better scenery and earned break :)

WOW! Incredible job to you both! The more you do it, the faster he will get- soon he will be up to your speed! :D It's so wonderful that he is being supportive and going with you- he's a keeper :D
