Muscle re-joining?

I had 2 emergency c-sections and an unrelated abdominal surgery within three years. The last surgery was 2 years ago. During this time, for obvious reasons, my core has been a mess. I was starting to think that where the muscles were cut for the surgeries would never heal properly. I can't do a sit up because I can't even feel the muscles anymore - well, at least until yesterday. I am not sure what I did, but the muscles along the incision line have been sore the past few days, not an injured sore, but that nice, worked out sore. Could these muscles just now be healing?

Yeah your body will repair take it nice and slow and really listen to your abdomen, that is one area you really do not want to hurt. I have had two c-sections and have given birth to 6 boys (one pergnancy was twins) and I thought Id never feel my abs working again, but today on my morning run/walk, I felt them doing thier thing, and it was a great moment.
Good luck to you!
