Ideas for 3 year anniversary

Our 3 year anniversary is coming up next week and I was wondering if i could get a guy's (or girl's) perspective on what's appreciated when it comes to celebrating these landmarks.

My boyfriend and I arn't married - this is the longest relationship I've been in - he's awesome - we're a bit short on cash this week so no lavish dinners and movies with $1mil popcorn - it'll have to be an after work thing...

any ideas you can throw my way will be appreciated.
