Two interesting articles about men and women

Hi, a friend gave me these and I thought they were interesting, so I'm posting them to spark a CALM, COLLECTED, and THOUGHTFUL discussion. I'm not taking any stance on either article, I just think they're interesting.

You lost me at this. Sorry.0 -
I tried to read them so I could participate in this discussion but I got two paragraphs through the one about women but it seemed like a whole lot of crazy so I had to tap out.0

Yes interesting & predictable, but true. Gaslighting.. Nice to finally put a term to the behavior.
Basically it comes down to this:

I enjoyed the first article (it wouldn't let me view the second) I discussed it with my husband and he agrees with most of it as well. I've honestly always been one of those women who "self dismisses" I've come to a point recently where I've begun to stand up for what I think and how I feel but still have a long way to go. This seems to be a very legitimate issue and I see it in most of the women I know.0

please dont tell me the writer thinks this is women? cause they dont speak for me.
thanks for sharing though. gives me something to share with my gfs.0 -
The one about the gaslighting, it's pretty terrible for those that would do it on purpose with some goal in mind... but I wonder how many do it and don't think about it? Or don't realize the effect thier comments have on a woman. I've known people who were really crazy... so complaining about dishes or something is not "crazy" to me... perhaps quirky or annoying, but not crazy.
As far as the e-maintaining..... even as a man I have say... Dude... that just lazy. Put some effort into it! Right for "Karen" to move on.. she derserves better.0 -
Thanks for your input, guys. Like I said, I was curious to see people's comments.0
