Our wedding song was by Anne Murray -- Could I Have This Dance

The song that reminds me of my wife most is either Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton or Up on Cripple Creek by The Band.
  • We have a lot of songs,

Don't stop believing - Family song, everyone sings it loudly everytime it comes on in the car
Then, Brad Paisley - Wedding dance song
Sex and Candy - Walk away song at the wedding, right after the kiss
A little more country than that, Easton Corbin - My song reminds me of him
Bless the broken road, rascal flats - His song reminds him of me

We didn't dance at our wedding. I don't do that whole center of attention thing. But we didn't really have a traditional reception, either.

Ours is "Love of my Life by Sammy Kershaw.

Kind of an interesting story. Nothing fairy tail like about my wedding or anything, didn't even have a bridal shower, but this still is pretty awesome to me how it all played out. But I heard this song when I was a teen, and I just felt it was my wedding song. I knew when a guy came a long, and this song would FIT, that he would be the one to marry. I bought the cassette, and kept it in my hope chest for years. Then the time came, and my husband loved it, it was our song. One line in it that really stood out to us was " I was lost so deep inside my shell, then you came and saved me from myself". That's exactly how we feel about each other.

Our song is Hanging by a moment-Lifehouse

but we danced our first dance to Cant Help Falling in Love-Elvis

I specifically picked our first dance song because we were 22 and 21 when we got married and everyone kept saying it wouldnt last :) 7 years later...:heart:

  • My ex and mine's song was No One's Gonna Love You - Band of Horses, which is a break up song. Guess we were doomed from the start!

What is your and your partner's song/ what was your wedding song?

My wedding song was Alison Krauss When you say nothing at all

My wedding song was the Keith Whitley version of 'When you say nothing at all' and our "first song" was 'Bless the broken road' by Rascal Flatts

We were married in Japan so had multiple entrances and exits. We had some Togi Hideki and Return to Innocence by Enigma. I normally hate Enigma (pseudo-intellectual nonsense) but I like that one.

At college, MY song was 'Easy like a Sunday Morning' (oh so true!)
With my high school boyfriend 'Inbetweener' (oh so true!)
With my high school crush 'Addicted to love' (oh so true!)

So it makes sense that I had to 'Return to Innocence' for my wedding
