Hi All
I thought i would say hi and ask if anyone else is really struggling to stay on track? I have lost a bit of weight and am doing regular exercise etc but I keep letting myself down with food.

I just seem to eat rubbish in bouts and then an good for a while.....

struggling with motivation not to eat...especially in the evenings when watching crap on tv...

anyone else in the same boat?
jon

Story of my life right now! I had a bit of a sugar attack today :( I did manage to stay in my calories, but the food choices were not good ones. I am trying to take it one meal at a time for now and asking myself if what I am about to eat will help or hinder my weight loss efforts...Obviously I forgot to ask myself that question today lol! Just stick with it! We can do this!

im the exact same. as soon as i get a compliment or see the scales go down i get complacent and start eating badly again. at the end of the day if we want to really be serious about losing weight then we have to go without! for every one bad day ill try and have at least 3/4 strict days to even it out that way i dont feel so terrible.

it will soon become a regular habbit for us. it takes time to adjust to a lifestyle change x
  • I'm the same too but when im good I try to organise what im gonna eat for the whole day.....i know that evening are the worst as u wanna eat but u can.....sort out ur calories and leave some for evenings....I always eat biscuits and coffee when watching TV.....keep cereal bars special K are only 80 calories , look for low fat choices and eat them when ur watching CRAP on telly lolololol also if ur exercising then U can afford to eat a little more without quilt.

I struggle with 'good' vs 'bad' phases when my 'good' phases are too low in either calories or nutrients to stop me ending up eating a load of rubbish a few weeks down the line.

I think you do eat pretty well generally (?) but maybe look at whether you're getting a full enough nutritional range to satisfy you and not lead you down the road to giving up.
