Count Calories by Photo of Food

Harvard App will (supposedly) be able to get the calorie count of food by just taking a photo of it:

What are your thoughts? Do you think it would work? Would you use it?

    H*LL YES I'd use it! However, I can't imagine that it'd be accurate and if it wasn't accurate, then it'd be a waste because there isn't any point in having something so convenient if it's all wrong. Sounds amazing though, if it works!

    I wouldn't trust it because Harvarad doesn't know what I put in my enchiladas. If it sees a picture of an enchilada, it's going to use some restaurant standard, which would be totally wrong!

    very interesting idea. read the article. has lots of things that need to be worked out but if they could get it to work I think it would be beneficial in the long run.
