I am struggling staying on this wagon. I really want to, but I don't know what's stopping me from staying on. I have lost 10 pounds and I am very proud of it, but I want to keep continueing because i don't want to quit. I know the alternative is hard. So what if I mess up and have somethings that I should not have; I am struggling with forgiving myself about it. How does everyone here deal with that?

When I have a BAD day, either because of emotions or stress in my life. I know that tomorrow WILL be a better day, and I'm ok with that. Everyone is entitled to a bad day, just don't let it turn into a bad WEEK.....

Then you count it, slap yourself on the wrist, and get back on the wagon!
No need to fear this, it happens to us all.

Everyone does that. Falling off isn't the problem--staying off is. C'mon, jump back on up here! Think about your reasons for doing this. Think about how you felt before, and how you feel now. Your health is worth the effort. YOU are worth it.

Stop seeing weight loss and health as a wagon and start seeing it like a path, a way to life.

When you need a break you step off the path take a break, then get right back on, when you fall off a wagon you are bruised and all mangled. I don't know about you but I wouldn't want to get on something that I could fall off of.

Remember it is NOT all or nothing. A journey is completed 1 step at a time. Good luck on your Journey.

Don’t turn your diet into a prison sentence, as it is unlikely you’ll stick to it. So just learn one word…moderation.

A little of something naughty goes a long way.

You know what helps me and does not impact my weight loss...eating really healthy all week and planning a cheat meal or two on one day on the weekend. Then, on that cheat day, start the day out with a little more excercising than usual!

In my opinion, stop looking at is as "being on or off the wagon". Look at it as a lifestyle change and enjoy things in moderation. I believe if you start looking at certain foods as being "off limits" then you are setting yourself up to fail. It's not easy and everyone of us struggling with our decisions we make everyday. Just don't let one decision affect the rest of your day. Good luck!
