I would like to start cooking a lot more. I feel like i don't have a lot of variety in my meals and i become very bored. (or end up ordering out) I need a good low cal/low fat easy recipe cookbook. Anyone know of any? Any suggestions would be great.

Thank you!

I personally really like Ellie Krieger's cookbooks, "So Easy" and "The Food You Crave". She focuses on healthy foods that taste good, and many of her recipes are fairly easy to prepare. I also turn to Moosewood's cookbooks for variety and vegetarian meals. Your local library may be a good resource so you can try before you buy. Hope this helps!

Some grilled fish tacos on white corn tortillas with some cabbage slaw, fat free sour cream and lime juice and reduced sodium black beans on the side sounds good.

Spaghetti squash with a light marinara sauce and extra lean, hot turkey sausage (crumbled) and grilled zucchini.

Kashi blueberry waffles with sugar free reduced calorie syrup & fat free margarine, 3 turkey sausage links & 2 boiled eggs.

Brown rice, gluten free fetuccini noodles, light creamy alfredo sauce, steamed mussels (from frozen) with lemon pepper steamed asprarugs and a nice fresh spinach and arugula salad with fat free ceasar dressing.

The "Weight Watchers Great Cooking Everyday" book is one of my all-time favorites!
