I'm curious....I always struggle to grow my hair out. I get past my shoulders and I get the urge to chop it off again.
Men what do you prefer on women? Long or short and why?

Not a man, but I prefer long hair. It just seems more feminine and beautiful. I usually keep my own hair down to about my collar bones.0

i'm not a man..but it's my general observation that men prefer long hair mostly..:)
and they don't like streaks, highlights etc..they like one natural color..
Men..correct me if I'm wrong0 -
Honestly Long Hair0

Although I prefer long, I wouldn't use it a criteria for getting to know a woman.0
-
Long but I have seen some attractive woman with short hair!! even shaved hair0
-
Most of the time I would say long hair without a doubt. For some women it may not work, but for the most part I would say long hair. I think it adds to the overall feminimity.0

Long hair is my preference, it can be streaked or highlighted or natural0

everyones opinion is diffrent :-)0

I agree with this.0 -
I think long hair always looks good. BUT if a girl has a very pretty face short hair can look great!0

Curly brunettes moderately long-length-ish are the best (my wife) but, really, all hair types, color and length are awesome. Its the brain and heart behind the hair that really makes the hair sparkle. No, really. Don't believe the BS woman's fashion magazines try to sell you.0

long hair. but the hair never made me fall in love with a woman. So, if you are nice person to hang around with you might as well be bold :-)0
-
long...because I enjoy running my fingers through it. The funny thing is that the first three responses to the thread are from women...Just cannot resist huh??? lol.0

It really depends. If you are younger looking(please don't hate me for this, but long gray hair just doesn't appeal to me), with the right shape face, and you have good hair, I like long hair. I've told my wife that for 28 years - her's is short! LOL. She can't grow it long, it just doesn't look good on her.0

Long0

No opinion. Hair length doesn't matter to me.
Let's be honest... if you cut it or let it grow there is only a 3% chance I'll notice anyways.0 -
*insert my most manly voice* Well I I like both. . Love long hair because it is sexy, but you can also be sexy with short hair. . look at Demi Moore and Hallie Berry. . So I think that you should have what makes you feel good. . And one who loves you will like you for who you are.0

Honey Badgers are bada$$ and shouldn't care what men think of their hair :laugh:0

I love long hair, but it really depends on the woman. So look better with sort hair and vice versa.0

Please do what makes you happy with your hair!! You have to fix it dailey!! You have the main choice!! :flowerforyou:0

Long hair is my preference. Prefer curly like my own. I don't know why it's just what I seem drawn to. Women with short hair can be attractive but it gives them a boyish look and I think that is why I prefer long hair on women.
Overweight women should avoid short hair in my opinion. Short hair on overweight women highlights the fat on their face and neck, whereas long hair hides it. Kind of same principal why I kept a beard when I was heavier, it removed emphasis on my fatter neck and double chin.0 -

LMAO! Awesome! I don't, I change my hair all the time. Just curious is all0 -
I know I am not a man but I thought I would throw in my 2 cents.
2 years ago, I chopped off all my hair. Even buzzed the sides. It was an extremely cute, extremely short, pixie cut. I went to military school at the time, and 90% of my friends were men. It was mixed reactions. Some of them loved it and told me I should never grow it again. No one said they hated it, but some told me they missed my long hair. It was a mixed reaction, but the guys who liked it, really really liked it.
Now my long hair is coming back, because boy did I miss it! and my fiancee met me with it short, but he prefer's it long- he is a hair guy. At the end of the day though, it shouldn't matter.
Men like confidence. If a pretty girl with short hair walks into a room with confidence, when the equally attractive girl with long hair is clearly lacking it- a confident, self-assured man would almost always choose the girl who acts like she's happy with herself- because hair can definitely grow back.
My point is, if you want to attract the right kind of man, who cares what they think about your hair- do what makes you feel most confident and most attractive and I guarantee it will show. If you grow your hair long and it makes you feel unattractive, people will notice. Do what makes YOU feel sexy, and you will appear sexier.0 -
It depends entirely on the woman.0

I agree...it's funny though whenever I say I'm thinking of cutting my hair again...all my girlfriends are for it. All my guy friends always say don't do it! And I usually do it anyway, lol!0
