    Don't share germs. And rest when you are sick. You aren't at any risk, if that is what you are asking. Just don't go underwater any deeper than three or four feet - I would avoid flip-turns. There are pressure changes in deeper water which can cause big problems if you are congested.

    Depends how bad the cold is and what technique you use. I would swim with a light cold but as I wear a nose clip and breathe only through my mouth anyway it isn't a problem.
  • If its a indoor pool it might help your cold. because of all the humidity. Go for a swim! it will make you feel better.

    After giving myself a few days to recover, swimming is usually the first cardio I do when I'm back in the game but am still not quite up to running and the like.

    Thanks everyone! I'm probably gonna walk the indoor track and take a dip...It's raining pretty bad out here, so the gym it is...
