Net Calories

Do net calories really matter? There have been days that I've had negative net calories, and most days I have around 200-400 net calories. I get a decent amount of protein and take multivitamins. I typically don't eat back my exercise calories. Is this going negatively impact my weight loss?

well you have 65 or so more pounds to go right? So right now you won't feel it because of your fat reserves.....But, as you get closer to your goal and continue with such low nets, your losses will slow way down.
Think of the body as a science experiment. If you go all day on just 200-400 calories, it will begin to wear down and stall out. So I'd start to eat back your exercise calories and let your body have it's nutrition.
there is alot of great info here about eating enough to help the body lose and be healthy. I'd at least try to net out at 1200 per day if I were you.

If you consistently eat less than about 500 net calories, you will lose weight very quickly and will be on your way to a painful death. Well, we're all going to die so maybe that should be "a painful death, soon".
