Does anyone use there HRM during lifting?

I do. Usually burn around 3-400 cals an hour on average.0

You can, but it will not be accurate, but still a good estimate, as the calculation embedded assumes a certain oxygen uptake that occurs during steady state cardio. Not to mention the majority of calories burned from strength training comes in the 48 hours after exercise as the muscle recovers and rebuilds.0

I wear mine and log the calories but only for the purpose of knowing what I need to eat back.0
