edited October 4 in Introduce Yourself
Hi...I'm finally figuring MFP out. It's not just a place to track calories and exercise it's a great place for support! So I'm going to introducing myself.
I'm a 38 yr old full time working mom and I woke up on October 10th and said enough is enough! I'm a newlywed and have gained over 36 pounds since I meant my husband 4 years ago. I'm 6'0 foot tall and built rather big so at my skinniest (around 23 yr old) I weighed 175 (my BMI says I’m right on the border of overweight and obese). I’ve lost 14 pounds so far and nutrition is definitely not my strong point, but I’m getting better! I just took before pictures last night and I was kind of stunned at how big I looked. I never saw myself that way and I don’t plan on ever seeing myself like that again!

welcome. MFP is a GREAT tool. I noticed your workout schedule in your signature. I think you might get better results scaling that down some. You can accomplish a lot in a smaller amount of time....while giving your body/muscles a chance to rest and heal which is uber important.

I'm just trying everything til I find my nitch! I'm still excited about working out so I thought I would take advantage of it, I'm sure I'll slow down but I do listen to my body and if I get wornout I take it easy! Thanks for the advice :)
