and it has a pedometer on it. it shows time, calories burned, steps taken, total week steps, total month steps, and total all together

i wear it when i do my daily walks.. but i was wondering if you guys think i should where it around the house when i am not exercising and then record those calories also?

I dont have one, but I see people wearing it thoughout the day to monitor how many steps they take during the day

No, your normal every day activities are already figured into your calories when you set your activity level. You would be recording those calories twice by wearing a HRM or pedometer all day then recording it.

I'd say no, because (just my opinion) you're not exercising. I only record calories burned when I do cardio ie getting my heart rate up for an extended period of time. Walking to the bathroom wouldn't burn much calories.

No, the reason why is some walking is included in your maintenance calories that MFP gives you. Even if you pick sedentary there is some walking implied which is one reason it is higher than BMR, among other things.
