Hi folks! I appear to have a stress fracture in my foot. Possibly from running. Aside from being sad (I liked the running), what do I do to exercise while I'm waiting for it to heal?

Swim and/or bike should be reasonable if not painful. Find an "upper body ergometer (UBE)" for upper extremity cardio.0

I second the swimming. You also may be able to do some pilates and yoga, but i suggest going to actual classes and letting the instructor know at the beginning of the class about your injury and they'll help you modify what you need to for that. And of course, clear everything by your DR to make sure you won't make anything worse.0

I had a stress fracture on both feet (not at the same time) and swimming is a no go.. still pressure on your foot... just do upper body strength training .. or go to ur gym and ask a trainer there... It sucks I know but dont give up!!!0
