What do you guys think of this treadmill?

Now I've read that running outside is actually much better for you, and that really makes sense to me personally, but sometimes the weather does not permit it. So my wife and I were considering getting a treadmill. We've landed on this one: http://www.proform.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_-1_14201_16002_29509_119453

I wanted to know what you all think of it. I've read somewhere that any treadmill under $600 probably isn't worth buying. Is that true? That one seems to be pretty well reviewed.

Thanks in advance for any responses.

I had one for about that price. I loved it. I think it was a nordic track, but very similar in design If you put it on hard flooring, get the padding to go under it.
    Have fun!

It really depends on what you're going to use your treadmill for. Some just are meant for a ton of running and/or multiple users.

I have that treadmill, and I LOVE it!! I bought the ifit to go with it, I probably wouldn't repurchase this because of where my treadmill is and where my computer is...but as far as the treadmill goes, I've had no problems with it and I use it daily, a friend of mine has been coming over and using it daily as well.

We have those at our gym here on base..I love Pro-Form equipment...that's all we have here and it takes a beating (literally) and holds up pretty well considering.

    Good luck!

I'm not a big ProForm fan. We had one but that was many years ago and hopefully the quality has improved. Have you actually tested one of these out? If not I would highly recommend doing that before you buy it. Go in and really run on it. Not just a few second jog. Make sure it doesn't shake when you run on it and the motor doesn't start to bog down at higher speeds or incline. If it feels right, go for it!
