im on a 1200 calorie diet ...i eat alot of egg whites in the morning. they are very low calorie...i eat apples and fruit for snacks. 4 ounces of chicken, tilapia....veggie burgers. Of course drink lots of water too. Buy the whole wheat low calorie breads (40 calories a slice)..sometimes I will just have 1 slice for a sandwich....I love Gwaltny (spelling?)Bacon 40% low fat...you can have 3 slices for 60 calories...thats lower than the turkey bacon. You can view my diary
  • You can follow the below diet plan also as an alternative ..

    Breakfast
    1 Hard Boiled egg
    1 Glass skimmed milk
1 cup of black tea - unsweetened

    Lunch
Salad (cucumber, tomatoes, capsicum, cabbage with a few drops of lemon)
OR You may also take friut yogurt (low fat) and 1 apple

    Dinner
1 breast piece of grilled chiken
OR steamed fish with a brown bread slice

Hope this will help you and you wont get bored of eating the same stuff on daily basis ! :)

    Regards

Of course lately I have been eating those Lean cuisine meals....weight watchers meal too. There is one called Meatloaf and mashed potatoes with tomato gravy...i take a piece of Low calorie bread and put the meat on top...or use the bread to sop up the gravy! I know it sound redneck, but hey I am redneck! it fills you up!

What are some of your favorite meals? Try finding some recipes to help reduce the caloric amounts of them. Check out the local Chapters for some low calorie cook books.... Have fun finding different ideas.

Weight Watchers bread is 100 cals/2 slices.

I bought it at Sobey's here in Sask.

I know it sounds cheesy but they have the "Look Better Naked" program from Women's Health and the meal plans from that are pretty interesting. I got the idea of a "breakfast pizza" from them. A wheat english muffin topped with red onion, tomato and either swiss or provolone cheese. I also love Whole Wheat mini bagels with Laughing Cow on them.
