I had a much smaller version of an under the desk bike and you shift your weight too much to be able to type let alone turn in your chair. I thought i was a genius when I bought it...

We have 'Walk Stations' in our workplace. Same concept as your image, but with a treadmill. I'd probably use the bike/stepper versions more. I do graphic design work, and I just can't keep my hands steady on the walk station.

My mom bought on ethinking she could get my dad to use it. Maybe I can get my hands on it one of these days to bring to work. It might just help me stay warm in this refrigerator that I work in. :ohwell:
