Update on my son (Zack)
As some of you know, he had to see a cardiac specialist on Tuesday because of some problems. The 2nd EKG did NOT show an enlargement!!!:drinker: :drinker: :drinker: :drinker: :drinker: :drinker:
The Dr. said he has Neuro-Cardiogenic syncope. They are not putting him on any meds right now and hopefully they won't ever have to. I have to add a little salt to his diet. This is MUCH better than we originally thought. They don't even want to see him back unless he has another fainting episode. Thank you all for your concern & prayers! :flowerforyou:

I'm don't really know the whole story, but I DO know how difficult it is to worry about a condition your child may have. :frown:
I am so happy for you! :flowerforyou:0 -

Glad to hear your son is doing better. My son also has neurocardiogenic syncope, his is the vasovagal type. It took a while before the doctors figured out what was causing his passing out, but once they determined what was going on they put him on beta blockers and he is doing great now. He was 14 when he first started having symptoms and was put on beta blockers at 16. We first tried increasing his salt intake, but for some reason he can consume copious amounts of salt with no effect. He is now 21 and has not had an episode in over a year now.0
