So I have this tradition that my father started when I was a little kid -- when the football game is on you bake COOKIES and every time your team gets a touchdown you eat a cookie! We dubbed them Touchdown Cookies, appropriately enough
It's been a long time since I've been able to watch football at home and bake cookies, but I have Sundays off work now and I got NFL Sunday Ticket so I can watch all of the games!
BUT I need some good cookie recipes! I'm gluten intolerant, and will be replacing all wheat flour with an all purpose gluten free flour. This seems to work well, though I can't really substitute wheat bran as far as I know...
Please share your cookie recipes! Preferably lower in calories (of course). I have xylitol and truvia at home... I don't know if they work well for baking though.
THANK YOU!!!

I don't have a recipe handy, but I found recipes for both types of cookies online so you could probably find it via google since I'm sure that's how I found them.
I made gluten-free coconut macaroons once that were delicious! You can also make flour-less peanut butter cookies that are tasty.
Sorry I'm not very helpful, but touchdown cookies sound awesome. Really, any excuse to eat cookies sounds awesome0 -
What a nice tradition! I just made these and they are delicious! Also, very seasonal.

And thes are amazing! One of my favorites. May not be the healthiest but has oats and cranberries in them

Meringues are also a good idea because they are low calorie and you can make a bunch of different flavors--chocolate, vanilla, or add extracts.0 -
I have no idea what contains gluten and what doesn't so apologies if these aren't suitable, but...
