well once I got at the top end of my "healthy" BMI range I stopped losing weight and haven't lost any for months. I don't know if it's a plateau or just my body settling into its healthy weight, so I try to stay the course and not worry about it too much.0

Are you eating your exercise calories?
yep i do0 -
Longest I ever had was a month. Try eating at maintenance for a while to kick start things or mix up your workouts.0

Are you eating what's listed on here or using a HRM? I've found MFP over estimates my calories burnt a lot.
If it's not that, have you changed your exercise routine recently? If not, start trying something new.
Same thing with your diet, start introducing new foods.0 -
I get your problem, I have it also. I heard on the news last week that the body secrets hormones to get us to eat and when we lose weight it secrets more to get us to eat more. So, we do and the weight comes back.
We had a discussion about this last weekend and several of my friends who have lost weight said that this will change. I have yet to experience the change.
And why do we lose weight one day and put on more the next. Can't figure that one out.
Let me know if you have answers.0 -
I have been stuck for a month but I hadn't bee exercising until this past saturday when I joined a gym and have been going every day since. I am hoping when i weigh in on Saturday that my plateu is gone. I think it just depends on your body, exercise, calorie intake and individual body system0

In my experience, it'll last as long as you keep doing the same things. Rather than adding more calories, try changing around your exercise routine. Do something different than you normally do, even if it's just to increase the duration and intensity of that same activity. I'd really suggest a completely different workout, though. Run instead of walk, bike instead of swim, swim instead of run. You get the idea.0

Try not eating your exercise calories. Eating them doesn't always work for everyone. I don't eat most of mine. Also I agree with changing up your routine.0

thank you all for your response. as i said i have increased my calorie intake already so the conclusion that i have drawn is the change in the workout. unfortunately my toe is injured these days so the only thing i can do is walk. thanks alot for your precious comments. God bless you all0
