To be honest i was so engrossed in the occasion that i bearly noticed what they were wearing
generally i like her style it makes a change from the usual women with their botex faces and the suits etc that they wear etc

I think it looks like something you'd pick out for spring. It could have been more formal. But the wrinkle comment, makes you think "hhhhmmmmmm THATS why she wore it!"

i liked it, but everyone always tells me i have terrible taste in clothes.
i didn't like the gold/yellow whatever thing she had on the first time tho.

It wasn't my fav of hers....
I love her simple style... in amazing bold colors, casual at times... it's awesome.
Like anyone she'll have a few flops.

My FAV outfit so far... was right before the inaguration... she was in like a long sleeved "t-shirt" type shirt and pinstripe pants.... LOVED it! Chic and casual!

This is quite funny...you know...I couldn't tell you the name of our Canadian Prime Minister's wife (Stephen Harper is the PM)...let alone what she wore on the day he took office...I couldn't even tell you if she is a blonde or a brunette...I think they have 2 children though...but don't quote me...

Hot or Not? NOT!

I thought this dress looked like something I could sew together.... and I don't sew. The shoulder sash was boxy, the bodice was well fit, but the gown made her hips look wide. And what about all that texture? It reminded me of a fabric from the seventies... I was not a fan, and I believe she generally dresses stylishly.




(BTW, as an offside... Barack's smile at her was precious!!)

Anyone "celebrity" in the States is fair game.
Since Paris and Britney have calmed down their lives, our celebrity news is pretty boring.
Thus we are focused on the dress worn for the inauguration.
I coulda gone the "Black Widow" dress route too from the night Obama was announced as president elect.
However, every time Michelle has appeared on a tv show as a guest, she has ALWAYS been dressed impeccably, like the most comfortable Banana Republic soccer mom.

It seriously made me jealous-and my husband LOVES me dearly I know. It's just looking at the 2 of them. I read an interview with him and man, Mr. Romance has a lot of charm and class. I'm Canadian and I love him. Any of you guys out there (or ladies) have some tips for my once romantic hubby I can pass on?:huh:

Aside from only 50% of her clothing looking good on her, someone really needs to teach her how to WALK!! Everytime I see that poor woman, she's clomping along like she's on a football team or something. I understand she's got an athletic build but that's no reason to walk like it! And I'm not saying she should CHANGE to suit others, but really, she does need to demurr just a tad. I'm hoping someone helps out with this.
