I just need some advice on how to keep losing weight? Of course the feeling of PMS is not helping this week.So I am sure my monthly will be here any day now.I am just trying to find new ideas on how to lose some weight and keep it off for good. How long has it taken most of you guys that have already lost all your weight and did your skin go back to normal?Any advice would be great.I am on a budget so buying all the health foods and stuff that people talk about is impossible for me.I try to exercise everyday.

Well .. i don't know how GREAT this advise is but what i am doing as given me a great start and has been endorced by my doctor.
I was frustrated when I wasn't losing and i was eating at MOST 1200 calories a day. So i asked my doctor what i was doing wrong. He said that I should actually take in at least 100-200 calories LESS that what i will do to MAINTAIN my weight. (i actually average a deficit of about 200-300 without any hunger but i'm sure that's not ideal)
Well, on January 8th, I was 152 pounds. I am on the treadmill every day since that day ... and today, I'm 144. (3 short weeks later ... 8lbs gone)
So .. i'm probably eating about 1100-1200 calories a day .. i'm gaining an extra 200-300 from exercising.
I truly think that if your doing some cardio everyday and cutting down your calories to whatever you can handle without starving .. is really goin to help!!!

Thanks guys I do watch my salt intake very carefully now.I try to do my cardio but I find it diffucult to eat them back because I'm not hungry .So what do I do then ? My calories are 1230 daily for me to lose weight. If I exercise for 30 minutes I burn about 400 calories so I have an awful time trying to eat them back without going over something like my carbs ,sodium, etc So what do I do here?0

I"m pretty sure you will start eating them after some time .. bc it sounds to me that you have just started it, i was like that in the beginning- after working out i can't eat.. and i feel like being forced to eat some of the extra cals.. after working out for some time, you will start feeling the " need " to eat..
And if you really don't want to eat , like a ' meal " how about some smoothies that you can make yourself, with fruits fresh or frozen, some yogurt.. etc.. inexpensive, fast and you can throw in it what ever you like, protein, fiber .. etc.. in " powder form " .
It takes time.. i wish I could tell you it goes fast and easy, but i would be giving you false hopes.. it is not like that.. it takes endurance, falling down and getting up again.. it is a long way to the goal..
I used to be 285 it took me a long time to lose this 40+ lbs.. i went down to 220.. and quickly gained 20 back !.. .. it goes quickly.. one mistake , one more bite, one more day without exercise, just one more serving.. .. it's a spiral trap.. you have to stop.. and control..
but .. like fitnes chick said in her poem " Start over " is the key
Good luck0 -
