Stubborn 5 lbs around the tummy!

Hello to My Fitness Pal friends,
I signed up about a week ago after hearing a co-worker had lost almost 30 lbs by counting calories using My Fitness Pal (hi Kim!). I have quickly become addicted to counting calories and am just loving it!
I want to lose these nasty 5-7 lbs that I've gained in the last 3 years or so (since I've hit my forties) that just won't go away. I'd like to lose those, and prevent gaining any new lbs too!
Any tips would be welcomed. These are a stubborn few pounds that have made a home around my tummy, but I am determined to lose them.

    I feel your pain. Everything else seems to be trimming down except my belly. I'm just going to keep at it. I understand (and I've got no sources but www.reddit.com\r\fittit or www.reddit.com\r\loseit to cite) that you can't target a specific area and that it's the overall loss that you need to focus on.
