I was sitting here tonight browsing the community posts and feeling hungry, so I got up and grabbed the closest thing: a bag of beef jerky. Well, before I started on MFP I would have downed that whole bag of beef jerky (3.5 oz) and then gone in search of something more to eat, but I didn't and it's not because I stopped myself, but because subconsciously my brain said "that's enough". I stopped after eating only about an ounce. Weight loss is the goal for me, but i'll take as many of these little subtle changes in my lifestyle as I can get. Has anybody else noticed similar things in their progress?

First: WOW, where do you get such a big bag of beef jerky?
And second; well done. I have a hard time stopping once I'm started on something (alcohol is the worst)... and so massive kudos to you for the restraint. That shows a changing and healthy relationship with your food.0
