What do you all think about saving the calories so I can splurge a little bit tomorrow at the fair? I mean, I am not hungry. If you look at my food diary, you will see I have eaten alot, I will probably even eat more, but there is NO WAY with it being almost 8pm that I will eat the rest of my calories. Especially with my non processed diet.
So, what do you all think of this? I know WW has the flex points you can use for a 'cheat day' so I think I can just adapt this principle to my diet, just wondering what you all think. BTW... the foods I'm planning on splurging on tomorrow: Egg Roll on a Stick, Grilled Corn on the Cob, and a Caramel Apple.
so let me know what you think?

I can't see your diary but if you are way under calorie goal once in a blue moon then I don't think its that big of a deal but I don't think that you can "save up" calories to use the next day, or at least in my experience that makes me gain weight.0

I think its okay as long as your average for the week is still good, and as long as you arent going over by a ton you should be fine, if youre going to be at the fair you should do plenty of walking, so use that as your exercise :-)0

1. I'm jealous of your impending deliciousness
2. It all balances out, you'll be ok. Enjoy!0 -
I don't save up calories, I think it's silly. I treat every day as an individual day. When I was losing weight (I'm pregnant now) I gave myself 1 or 2 days "off" every week and didn't count calories. I never had a problem losing. Your body needs days where you eat more so that your metabolism doesn't slow down, which it will if you eat at a calorie deficit for a long period of time. One day of being over on calories won't hurt anything, there's no need to "save up" calories for a special event. My philosophy is that while losing weight you should live how you will once you reach your goal weight. Are you going to count every single calorie for the rest of your life? Or at some point are you going to trust that the healthy habits you've adopted are what you need to maintain a healthy weight and lifestyle? Are you going to obsess over what you eat at a party?0
