I'm finding it pretty hard to eat my daily calories each day, why is this, I find after I excercise I'm not hungry and have no appetite at all, is this okay for me to be only eating 800-900 calories each day? I'm worried I'm not getting enough food
Today I've eaten alot more than usual, have a look a my diary and tell me if this is an okay average amount of food intake

The problem with eating on 800-900 kcals a day is that you might not be getting the right amount of nutrients that your body needs to run. I'm not suggesting that you gorge yourself because you have to, but try to find nutrient dense foods and eat a larger breakfast than 300 kcals to get your metabolism started for the day and I don't think you'll have a hard time adjusting. This could help the weight loss in your situation.0

For me I don't eat when I'm not hungry but your diary sure doesn't seem like a lot....0

Ok, I just saw your diary. Looks like you might try getting in more carbs in the morning and more protein in the afternoon. Put some meat into that sandwich of yours for lunch.0

Find more calorie dense foods and if u can't add them in, then trade out some low cal things ur eating now for the higher cal items...
Nuts, natural peanutbutter, lean meats, cheese, rice, beans, raisins, etc...could cook with olive oil to add cal. And could even drink the calories with juice or milk at 100+ cal a cup.
Your NET calories at the end of the day should be 1200 (so don't just look at food intake totals)0 -

Thanks heaps I never look at the NET calories only ever look at my food totals0 -
Look in your goals section, what is the Calories Burned From Normal Daily Activity number?
Your net should be between 1000 less and 500 more than that to be healthy without stressing your body.
That's only if you exercise though. On a day where you don't exercise, you need to get at least 1200 cal in for a healthy intake.

I'm aiming for a net between 1100 and 1300, my Calories Burned From Normal Daily Activity is 1960, and a minimum of 1200 (if I do no exercise)
I am not interested in a massive quick loss though. I'm interested in changing my lifestyle and creating a fit and healthy body. (which does involve losing weight/fat)0 -

if that's the case, you're net should be like 1310 to avoid your body going into survival mode... seems high, but if you're really keen, maybe a trip to dr or nutrionist?0

I think it's just my excercise plan burns a Hugh amount of calories so there's alot leftover with the amount of food im eating, I'm jut going to increase my breakfast and see what happens0 -
and try the nutrionally dense food like people have suggested ?
you will figure out what's best for you, just gotta try different ways0 -
A great way to get in some extra calories is with a big breakfast. For example oatmeal with nuts and fruits and joghurt. 800-900 really isn't enough, especially when exercising!0
