under 1200 calories, should I be worried?

Ok, so today I had 1143 calories. My daily goal is 1600-ish which is down from when I was eating unhealthily at around 2100 calories. I heard that 1200 is the minimum a woman should eat in a day, but I'm simply not hungry. I even got the soup simply because I was worried I wasn't eating enough. I don't want to stress too much over 57 calories, and I know that if I'm not hungry then I shouldn't eat, but I'm worried that my loss of appetite might be a problem.

Don't worry at all! For the past three days you were between 1200-1300 calories. 1150 isn't a big deal! Its super close! As long as you aren't consistently eating under 12k you will be fine :D 50 calories also doesn't really count as a loss of appetite. Just make sure that you eat a bit more tomorrow! "D

way too close to worry about it and honestly there has to be room for a certain margin of error unless you weigh everything

I definitely agree. Yesterday, I had to drink milk to get a little closer to 1200, but today was around 1600. It'll work itself out. ;) Sometimes it's better to look at your weekly calories to get a better idea (especially when your day varies! Maybe some nights you're in bed by eleven, and others you're studying and snacking til 1am... what day do those calories belong to!? :P)

once in a while = no big deal. You just don't want it to be a regular thing. I had cake today and still ended up under 1200 by a smidge...
