Howdy from Albuquerque!

I've been here at MFP a week and lost 1.6 lbs. Turns out New Mexican food kinda doesn't fit in the calorie count - ha! Needless to say, there have been a few changes in the cocina. Enjoying the site, learning new habits. Looking for friends for motivation and to share low-cal, low-fat red and green chili recipes.

Greetings from Albuquerque as well...welcome. Feel free to send me a message if you want - I still incorporate NM cuisine in my diet regularly.
Remember - green chile by itself does not have much in the way of calories - like most other veggies...so you can always spice up any meal you make0 -
Richards! Great place - Haven't been there in a while, but they DO have a pretty healthy menu, don't they? Thanks!0

Ken - yes, green chile certainly spices up the chicken! I've been finding lots of good recipes on EatingWell.com, and adding chile to them. I've also found just using lots of fresh herbs really flavors things up.0
