"Crosstraining"

Okay so... I am running 3-4 nights a week doing c25k (I'm on week 5 right now) and I am thinking (and my training partner) to hit my goals I need to exercise on my off days. I'm wondering what cross training do you do?? I'm wondering if I should do my kettlebell training or 30 Day shred training? Should I do cardio? Also, any great cardio that focuses a lot on the lower abs because jogging is getting my upper abdominals, but lower abs are not changing a whole lot? I know there isn't "spot" training, but I know there has to be good things for the abs. Any help is appreciated.

I run 4 days a week (speed, easy, and long run). On the days I do not run I take BodyPump (3 times a week) and use the elliptical or ARC Trainer at the gym. Sometimes I use the rowing machine as well and do a kettlebell workout with my hubby. I also like to take spin classes.0

Are you doing strength training? If not I'd suggest adding it.
As you said, you can't spot train, but if you want some exercises that work that part consider bicycle crunches, leg raises, and v-ups.
But really I'd say look at full body strength training.0 -
