I wish I had finished college before getting married.

Regrets? I've had a few, but then again too few to mention. I did what I had to do and saw it through without exemption. I planned each charted course, each careful step along the byway. And more, much more than this... I did it my way.

I regret that I've been beaten to the punch. :grumble:

I regret that I spent about 26 years thinking I wasn't athletic, that I wasn't a runner, that it was just something I wasn't good at, because my best friend in junior high was asked to try out for track team (and got in) and I wasn't. I wish gym teachers and coaches would have bothered to mention that being able to run was a learned skill, not a genetic thing like eye color or the ability to roll your Rrrr's.

But it's not that big of a regret, because I think the "holy crap! I can do this!" feeling I get now is more satisfying than if I'd always been able to do it.

I regret not doing anything where I hesitated and said...noooo....that might get me into trouble....

After all, we'll need something to laugh about when we're in the Nursing Home :-)

I was afraid to do what I wanted and instead chose a career path for something that was a little more traditional and easier. I'd do it differently and would take the road less traveled.

I also regret pissing my money away when I was still living at home.

I also regret not realizing my own financial value, and now at year end review I have to plead my case to get a great big bump so I can at least attempt to have a competitive salary in my field.

Not telling someone how I felt about them and that they could stay. They might still be alive today if I had.

One thing and one thing only.

That I ever picked up a ciggarette. That's all.

Everything else, to have it changed might change where I am in my life right now. Not a risk I'd be willing to take.

omg same here still try to kick the habit =(

    My biggest regret:
When I was in high school, I got an invitation to the Indiana Academy which was a residential high school with very rigorous academics. The students in this school get accepted to colleges like Yale and Harvard, and I choose not to go. Why did I choose not to go? One of my friends talked me out of it. Where is that friend in my life now? We stopped being friends the very next year. I'm pretty sure she was just jealous of me...

*chose. I was distracted while typing this, so I had to correct myself...

Not putting more effort into my last relationship. Was my fault we split up and it hurt, a lot. Took a couple of years to get over

I do not regret anything. In fact, I don't even believe in having regrets. :flowerforyou:

Agree. Life is full of choices...you live and learn.
