I am such a saddo but I am really excited about going to the gym tonight!!!!!!!

I started the couch25K this week. Skipped to the week2 schedule as I am fairly fit already. Week2 programme was grand. Still going to stick with that tonight.

I am taking things VERY handy though as I pulled ligaments in both my knees and ankles running last year and this year. Ankles just felt weak the other day doing it but they were fine. Got proper runners few months back so they are helping alot.

Roll on a rough 700-800 cals burn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Warm-up, weight machine, rower, running and free weights, sit-ups etc. Just in from work, tidied kitchen, made omelette with tuna/sweetcorn, going upstairs in a min to get my gym gear ready.

I am sad, I know. I do have a life outside of all this ye know!

    I don't think that is sad - that is what I would like to do but I have two small children and just don't have the finances to pay a babysitter so I can go work out. I try to exercise at home (sit-ups, etc) and take walks with my children and dance with my daycare kids but have not done a FULL workout in a long time.

    I have 2 small kids too; 2 & 3 years old. I go to the gym after they go to bed. My husband stays at home to mind them. He has alot of patience with me! Neglected he is, neglected!

    I think at this stage, I'd go insane without my workouts. I LOVE them.

    DId the running tonight. For the first 10mins, I did 2mins walking, 1min30 running, then after 10mins changed this to 1min 30each, then at 15mins, changed again to 2mins running, 1min30 walking. So did 23 mins in total. It was fine.

    I need to lose the last 10lbs and really need to mix my programme up. Feel this is what I need.

    My husband took rashers and (Superquinn - ask any Irish person who makes the best pork sausies?!) sausages out of the freezer as he wants to have some tomorrow morning with the kids. What do I do? Have 1 piece of bacon, 1 saussie and a poahced egg?? We grill all of our fries if we have them which is hardly ever. Dilema people?!!!!!!!!!!!!
