Protein is what makes you feel full!
So, yes, a big salad with a lean protein is good. You can also snack on a GOOD high protein bar like a Quest Protein Bar.
Minimal ingredients, all natural, high protein, low net carb, high fiber.
These are by far the best protein bars out there. You may have to order them online though. My nutritionist gave me a bunch but then I couldn't find them in the stores. I get mine from http://julianbakery.com/

I eat a pack (2 bars) of Nature Valley granola bars in between my lunch and dinner meals. I am fairly new here and I am sorta doing the mini-meals right now. I break my breakfast up into 2 parts, cereal around 8 am and fruit around 10 am. Then a protein and vegetable lunch and granola when i get hungry mid-day. Main meal is dinner and then lighter foods like yogurt, grapes, etc at night.0
