I'm having a hard time staying under my calorie goal. Anyone have any advice? It says I should only be having 1440, so I'm working out in order to eat more...

Anyone have any tips?

It would help if you set your food diary to public so people can see what you're eating. Hard to know what to tell you without seeing what you're doing now.

I find it helpful to eat pretty much the same breakfast and lunch every day. For breakfast I have a wedge of Laughing Cow cheese on a thin bagel with half a glass of skim milk. That is right at 200 calories. For lunch, I have a sandwich (sandwich thin, low sodium turkey, romaine, tomato, 2% cheese, 1/2 tsp. light mayo) and half a serving of natural cheeto puffs. That is approx. 275 calories. That gives me a lot of calories left over for dinner & snacks so that I almost never eat all my calories.
