If you don't mind my asking, how tall are you?
On a related note, I noticed the other night I could see my hip bones when I was laying down. Still belly when I'm standing up, but kind of nice to see them now and then.
Congrats on your weight loss! Amazing
Im a little under 5'10".
I like seeing the bones. it's just getting to me people saying that i am getting to thin and boney.0 -
I can sort of see my chest bone. i can see my ribs. but not through my shirt or anything. I hugged someone else yesterday and they said I was boney0

hahah
"Rib Boobs"
I totally have that going on.0 -
I have what I call "rib boobs" - I have a large rib cage and a small waist, so my ribs stick out quite a bit further than my tummy. Most slender people I know don't have those, but I am well within a healthy weight range and I do so I guess it is just the way I am built.
Jeez, I so have rib boobs...I dont like it at all cause Im small chested, so it looks like I have two sets of boobs. Blech.
Its like that whether Im 145 (the smallest Ive been as an adult) or 195 (the most Ive weighed) its just how my body is...my bones stick out. I dont like it, but I can see how someone who cannot feel or see them feels good about that as a measure of progress, because it means theres not as much fat sitting on top of it. All my fat just happens to sits on my butt where there are no bones hah! *sigh*0 -

yea, it's normal to feel them. when you start seeing your ribs, that's when you have a problem
My ribs stick way out and I still have 45 lbs. to lose so I'm gonna go ahead and disagree with you on this one.
My ribs stick out too. My lower ones in front. It is just how I am built. I think this whole subject really depends on how you are built as an individual.0 -

Ive got to say, Im so glad this topic came up!! I really never ever noticed this on any other women and I feel way better knowing its not just me with big rib double boob syndrome :P0 -
God, me too!!! I feel like that's part of my sabotaging problem, because I start to see my ribs, which stick out just as far as my small chest, and then I get self-conscious... I figure at least when I have a bigger belly, you can't see the ribs... but then I feel gross... haha0

I think so. When I was much, much heavier I couldn't really feel or see my ribs, hip/pelvic bones, spine or collar bones.
It was a huge surprise and super freaky moment when I discovered I had them haha0
