I am getting a heart rate monitor as a anniversary gift.
I saw this one

Any comments?
Do you have to use an ipod?
ETA:
do you need to have the watch-y thing-y too? or does the nike+ replace that?
I have Nike+ Sportband now.
Any suggestions on one that tells calories burned at $100 or slightly less?
Thanks.

I would think that you would have to replace the watch. I have the Nike+ but nike+ with heart rate monitor sounds much better. Oh Nike+ by itself is actually very accurate in telling calories burned running and walking. It matches my HRM.0
