GOOD MORNING!!!
I'm feeling great this morning! I did another 11 miles last night even though my knee was hurting. I stuck to my calories last night and it felt great!
Today I'm hoping to get in at least 15 miles! But it all depends on my knee.
Well I'm off to get ready to go "pin" my husband's new rank on him!!! (Army)

I'm glad you feel great Renae!
I don't feel too bad myself. I lost another .5 pounds this week so I can't complain. Even my DH noticed! :bigsmile: Well, probably not the half pound but the 5 pounds I've lost in three weeks or so. I could probably lose it faster but I haven't had time to work out like I want and I still have a problem with food. I guess I will be counting calories for awhile. :grumble: But it works!
Last night was a little rough. An hour after we put Alex to bed he started coughing and coughing. I tried everything, before I realized his eyes were almost swollen shut! We moved him to our room and he quit coughing. I just washed his sheets two days ago with the same detergent as always so I am not sure what is going on. He's still sleeping so I don't know how he's doing. My older sis had allergies like that and it was hard on her. I feel sorry for my baby.
This morning is Bible Study. We have a therapist coming over tonight. I have MORE painting to do on the bed because now I have to put a protective coat over all the pieces. I thought I was almost done! I probably won't get any cardio in (does painting as fast as I can count?). I want to get this done so I can get some normalcy back! I have a long list of stuff to get done today, but "relevant to this site" things are push ups, sit ups, logging food, and try to drink my water.
You all have a good day! I am going to try to get an hour of painting in before I have to go to Bible Study!

Yesterday - just walked, mostly. Got friend to try the gym for 1 month. I told her to pick out some classes - so I'm going to my first pilates class on Tuesday morning. Pilates has always sounded like something I wouldn't like - all abs and back.
Today, I get to ride my new bike :bigsmile: It's forecast to reach 65 degrees, so it should be a nice day, though it's cold now.
I'm reading one of my favorite books "A Walk in the Woods" by Bill Bryson. It's about hiking the Appalachian Trail - it's both funny and somewhat inspiring. Do any of you know about a great fitness type book?

Walked for forty minutes today through a bunch of slush. . .other than that, unless crying counts as cardio, not much. (I've discovered I've been suppressing a lot of emotions over the past three months. . .) I actually feel much better now, more equipped to handle the return to work.
I need to say that I've really appreciated your "listening" to me throughout this strike weirdness. I love my pebbles! Just checking in, and feeling like people were watching made it so I exercised at all during this time. . .so thanks.
