how many pounds do you guys have left to go ? , I only have 8 lbs and i was wondering if i will lose them slower than all the other weight or will continue at a normal pace ? also when you get down to the last few pounds , do you notice more of a change with every pound lost ? like does 1-2lbs make a noticeable difference ? help ! xx

  • The smaller you are, the harder it is to lose because of a lower TDEE. If you have a small frame, like me, 2 pounds does make a noticeable difference.
  • whats a tdee ? and i have a medium frame .
  • TDEE: The amount of calories you burn in a day. Don't confuse with BMR (basal metabolic rate).

I'm in a healthy BMI/weight range, I'm down to the last 7-8 pounds and have been stalled out for the past few months...have just maintained (at least I haven't gained). But I kind of fell off of my healthier eating habits and I know that is my problem. I don't know if anyone will notice if I lose the last few pounds...but I want to start doing strength training again and look more fit and muscular...that will be noticeable.

I have about 5-7 more to lose....it's been VERY difficult these last few weeks. I haven't lost anything but I haven't really been trying either. I feel hungrier lately. Not sure why. I'm refocusing now though. I'm hoping that taking these last few weeks off will kickstart my body back into losing when I go back to lower calories.

The last 10lbs or so is far more difficult to get off than the first 10lbs were. As you get thinner and closer to your ideal weight, your body starts to fight a little about losing those last few pounds. :) Don't give up. Just do a little adjustment to what you've been doing and be patient. Your body will lose them eventually. :)

I have 3 lbs to go to my goal. Honestly, I have not noticed a slow-down in weight loss as I get closer to my goal. Make sure you eat healthy food (homemade, not processed), make sure you eat enough, and exercise. At this point, I am noticing every little bit of fat that leaves me.

Ditto, here! Funny, you stole my answer! = D Doing well to maintain, but could be doing better! I'm older so my lower tummy needs to lose the fat, still. I am 5'5 1/2" tall and weigh 142, aiming for 135. I think this will take me a while!

i have been trying to lose about 8 pounds for over a YEAR. i go up and down about 2-3 pounds every few months. very frustrating. but...on the bright side, with all of this dedication, exercise and support, my body is definitely healthier -- in many ways. i have about 5-6 more to lose to reach my goal of 130. expect some slow going, but don't give up.

i am trying to really cut my processed carbs down. it seems to be helping for me. i am pretty insulin sensitive.

good luck and congrats on your loss so far!
