What are the best exercises to get a flat stomach? What type of workouts have been successful for you. Any body who has a flat stomach and can give advice I would appreciate it. If you want to add me as a friend go ahead, thanks.

While Ab exercises are great for strengthening the muscle, you really need to reduce bodyfat in order to get your abs to show.0

Well - like many, many, many people have said here - you can't flatten your stomach by doing ab exercises. You have to reduce your overall body fat % through diet change and vigorous cardio exercise. But, crunches are still important if you actually want to have abs. I certainly had little to no definition in my stomach, even when at a healthy weight, until I started doing crunches 3x a week. But like 10 minutes a day of ab exercises, every other is ideal. I'm sure you could look up loads of exercises online - I personally just do the Turbo Fire Abs 10 routine.
Crunches are a great way to sculpt your tummy once the fat is gone, makes you look leaner for sure.0 -

thats right, you can have a 6pack but if your have fat around your abs you wont see them. planks, running good posture, most people do sit ups the wrong way and this is bad news for women. if you do them wrong you will get a bulky upper abdominal and this wont protrude to the outside but to the inside and push everything inside down and then you will have pelvic floor problems! who would have thought! fi you are haveing trouble getting them right see a physio or a good trainer who is experienced in womens exercise. you can friend me if you like. 12 years, 9 pergnancies, 5 babies, 18mths of hard work and i am finally starting to see my abs again!!! time and persistance....0
