As I lose weight I feel fatter. F U self esteem issues.

:(

I mean sure, I feel better than if the scale was going up. But still feel like crap.

Anyone else had this happen?

    I fully sympathize.
  • I empathise. I've lost loads, but I still feel like that fat guy from years ago.

It gets better though. When you're buying small clothes that you never ever expected to fit. So much better then. :)

Yup, that can happen too, especially if there has been some emotional eating behind your previous overeating. Try figure out what were the causes behind it. You might find something you have pushed below carpet when you'll read Dr. Phil's "Ultimate weight management solution" or something like that. Few years ago it was a HUGE help for me. By understanding yourself and your behaviour with food better, you can start feeling better about yourself and get your life and emotions more in control. Good luck!
And BTW, you are doing great. :-)

I've never really overeaten, that's the thing.

I never had any weight issues until I had kids, and the weight from the pregnancies just never shifted.

I'm just finding it so hard to stick to my calorie goal (even though I haven't gone over since I started with MFP) I just feel like I'm starving myself all the time.
