My stomach is shrinking! I didn't know it would happen this fast!

Last night we went out for dinner. I got a normal amt of food on my plate - as in what I'd have put on it before I started trying to lose. I was going to allow a splurge dinner... BUT I didn't need to splurge. About halfway through my plate I realized I was full. I've only been working at this for about 2 weeks. Will your stomach shrink after just 2 weeks of eating smaller meals??

In any case I was full, so I stopped eating. It was my "splurge dinner" and I STILL stayed under cals for the day. Without feeling deprived. What a great feeling! I really AM changing my habits!!

Wohoo! Happened to me last night too, what a wonderful feeling! Things like that make me believe this is a life style change, not a diet.

Thats so cool! I have not measured myself in a couple of weeks. I am planning on only measuring maybe once a month. You are doing great. Keep up the good work!

    Congratulations!

Just goes to show how quickly we can change our thoughts, and learn to listen to what our body tries to tell us!
  • You recognised when you were full and stopped eating. That's got to be the best NSV ever.

Our stomachs don't actually physically shrink. Its all to do with being satisfied with smaller amounts of food. Well done! It took me years to get to that point. You have done so well. I'm actually quite envious  :flowerforyou:

    Isnt it great. Congrats
I noticed the same thing the first time I decided to slurge and have pizza. After the second slice I felt so stuffed where normally I could eat 3/4/5 slices. Enjoy it and good job
