Hi guys. So iv really been over doing it on good food and wine lately I'd like to try a detox. I'm not doing this to lose weight but rather clean my bod out a bit and use a detox to help me get back on track with my healthy eating plan. Have any of you tried a detox or cleanse before ? Are there any you would recommend ? Again my goal is not weightloss although this would be an added bonus lol thanx x

All a waste of money and time IMO Your body doesn't need help detoxing, it will do that on its own
eat up those fruit and veggies and you will save money and feel much better!0 -
sunshine_88 is right, detox's from companies are a waste.. if u just eat a higher amount of fruit and vegetable and minimal sugar that should b enough, drinking (herbal tea's) will help.. u can have different vegetables and fruits that contain high fibre and help you to cleanse your body..
Apricots, melons, cantaloupe, all berries, mangoes, red grapes, grapefruit, oranges, kiwi and peaches - all fresh
Here is a list of vegetables and fruits that can be used for a highly effective cleanse:
Dark green, leafy lettuce (romaine, red leaf, green leaf)
Avocados
Tomatoes
Cucumbers
Celery
Carrots
Red beets (one or two will last a week)
Zucchini
Bell peppers
Broccoli
Cauliflower
Cabbage
Asparagus
Onions
Corn
Yukon gold or new potatoes
Sweet potatoes or yams
Acorn or butternut squash
Watermelon
Honeydew
Cantaloupe
Pears
Apples
Bananas
Mangoes
Papaya
Peaches
Plums
Nectarines
Grapes
Coconut
Oranges and grapefruit
Blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, goji berries, and any other berries that you enjoy
Any other fruits or vegetables that you enjoy raw or juiced
do it for one day where u just eat as many fruits/vegetables and the day before don't have any meats.. drink as many herbal eats but have the teas at least 45minutes after u eat something otherwise it could stop the absorption of some vitamins i.e green tea stops the absorption of iron if drank after a meal with iron in it:P0 -
I totally agree with the above posts. Eating clean, whole products are the best detox!0
