Advice on weighing please.

Yesterday when I weighed I was +.2 of a lb. I was extremely constipated and hadn't gone for a week. That was rectified yesterday and today I weighed and was -1.3 lbs.
So my question is should I still stick with my weight of yesterday, or should I go by today's weight? Any advice would be much appreciated!

In the over all scheme of things and in five years from now, it just doesn't matter. You can enter both weights if you want. Or, you can not enter either and can wait until your next weigh-in and put that number in.0

Since I know that I am sticking very close to MFP's recommendations for my weightloss goals, I *only* log the weights that come in lower than the previous weight. It's natural for your weight to fluctuate up a little bit here and there, due to food you just ate and haven't passed yet, same with fluids, not having used the bathroom that day, water retention, etc. Sometimes I see the scale go up significantly the day after an intense workout, sometimes it stays up for a bit, but it *always* comes back down under where I was before. The scale is going to do a little roller coaster dance every now and then. I only log the valleys, not the peaks, b/c I know that I am sticking to the plan. Now, if I knew I was getting of-course with my calorie goals, I would be realistic with myself and log every weight so I could see where I really am in my journey. But for now, knowing that I'm doing what I'm supposed to do, I only log the weights that show me my progress.
So I'd stick with the lower number.0 -
Do whatever you want. Personally, I only log it when I have maintained a weight loss for more than three days, but I weigh myself constantly. I jump on the scale three times a day sometimes just for fun. Some people would freak out over the daily fluctuations, but I find them intriguing!
You can log your weight, and then just look at the overall trend later. It's ok to go up and down by a pound or two, as long as you're not going up and down by 20 pounds or more!0
