Hi everyone, I am fairly new, within my third week of my journey. I have been reading and learning from all of you by reading your posts/blogs. My name is Pam and I'm 57 years old. I just started blogging this week and it seems like a great outlet for this journey. I would love to befriend anyone who would help be a great motivator and help keep me on track. My starting weight was 290 pounds and I'm down 12 pounds to 278. I only weigh once a week, on Thursdays. My food diary is open to the public so if anyone wants to take a peek and offer some suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated. I want this journey to be my final trip down this road. I've done many fad diets and lost mega pounds, only to regain it all and more because I returned to my old food habits. This time I know better. It's a change I'm committing to for the remainder of my life.

    I am just having another push at the weight loss thing,

    I am 47 lb + 5 lb down from before I started with MFP this year. And hope to reach 70 lb in total by New Year. (Start weight was 260 lb (18st 6lb), aim by New Year 188lb ( 13st 6lb).

    I also need a kick to stay on track, if anyone would like to add me to their friends list :smile:

    Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I was having a mid-afternoon food meltdown so I came back here to make sure I stay on track. I've loved reading several blogs and posts. If anyone would like to befriend me, I would love to have your support and support & motivate you back.
