Cottage Cheese snack

Options
1/2 Cup Cottage Cheese 2%
1 Tbs splenda or Stevia
1 tsp of vanilla or any flavor

Use de food processor, blend it well until no more lump, freeze it for 30-40 min

Nice protein snack or desert without the guilt of the calories

    interesting!! I love cottage cheese, too! i always buy the onion an chives. SO tasty! I eat it plain, spread it on a bagel/muffin or in place of sour cream and butter on a jacket potato.

    Yum!! I love cottage cheese! This is similar to what I do with ricotta cheese except I don't blend or freeze it. But I will try this out! Thanks for the idea!

    Thank you, I never thought about freezing t it. I love cottage cheese by I got turn off by the sodium in such a healthy food. I now mix it with equal parts of Greek yogurt, thanks to the recommendation of one of my MFP friends, and I reduce the sodium in half. I will try your snack suggestion.

    sodium is ok for people who are exercising reguarly. (required actually)

    Add peanut butter or pB&co flavoured pb for some TASTY stuff!

    I also use sf pudding mixes.

    Totally not a huge fan of mixes, but FF/SF cheesecake pudding mix with cocoa powder, cottage cheese and frozen blueberries - SOOOO good! :bigsmile:
