Thurs Check-in
1. Water - check.
2. Workout - No. Looks like this one might be a fail for the week. (2/5)
3. Carbs - YES! It really helps when my husband works late. He's a carb-aholic, and I usually end up messing up my whole day just with dinner and night snacking. (3/3!)
Fri Check-in
1. Water - check. 10-8oz glasses down, and plenty of time tonight to have more.
2. Workout - I haven't yet, and I can already say I won't. We're going out of town for the weekend, so I have to pack up for the family, get my weekend laundry/cleaning done ahead of time, etc. I'm pretty positive I won't feel like doing it... who know, maybe the power or 11/11/11 will hit me, and I'll do it after the boys are in bed :laugh:
3. Carbs - Two words for today's eating... free doughnuts.0 -
Friday Check in
1. good food selections and will down some more water this evening
2. Worked out today in the water
3. Keeping the focus but wavering a bit unfortunately... /

Friday check in:
1. 6 am workouts of my choice – 4/6. Today ended up being just a weird weird day. I'm hoping to get a workout in tomorrow, so I'll have 5 for the week, all in all not bad.
2. Be more aware of my food choices – I tried, but I’m sad to report I failed miserably on this today.
3. Log all extra BLTS (bites, licks, tastes, and sips) – I didn’t even log my meals
4. Water, water, water - more water less other beverages – A little light on water today, could have done better.
5. No eating after 8:00 pm – 5/7 No snacks yesterday! Should be good for tonight as well.
All in all not a great day for me, but here's to tomorrow :drinker: Have a great evening and a great weekend! Check in with you all tomorrow!0 -
Wow, you guys are rocking it this week. I only had two goals. One to survive my parent's visit and I did that well and mostly okay on food. The other was to return to exercise in some fashion since I'm slowly getting clearance to do things again. I'm proud to say I did one Zumba gold class and today's regular Zumba class. My neck/shoulders are bothering me a bit, but nothing outside of what they have been doing normally since the accident just by sitting so I'm glad. I was a bit winded though, it had been a few weeks. It's amazing how your body goes back to out of shape so quickly if you let it.
I'm glad to be back and so glad that you guys have joined the group. I've already set my goals for the week that starts tomorrow. The thread is up when you are ready.0 -
My goals are mostly a repeat of last week's:
Chalean, six times this week: (last week I accomplished this at least)
3 fruits/veggies: (about half the time last week) no, only 2
Protein higher than fat: (failed as a week, it looked like when I first started MFP) whew, way over in calories! But anyhow, not even close to this tonight. Tomorrow I need to refocus.
Don't let my anyone drag down my eating habits: (accomplished more than failed last week, but not even close to a habit) failed all day at this, I blame my husband (cause I'd hate to blame myself of course )

I need to get my head in the game, last week after a fender bender, I just quit for a few days. It's that kind of pattern that will keep me from being healthy and fit. And now I'm at the part which I dreaded (and am excited about): maintenance. This is where I very slowly start putting on the weight in the past, and I want to be good.
Just reading this thread today and so get the feeling about maintenance! I have been all over the map with my eating and today I have taken it one meal at a time and it feels good

Saturday
1. Log in everything I eat . done
2. Exercise 5 days 5/5
3. 30 DS finish level 2 and start level 3 : level 2 day 7
4. Eat more fruit and vegetables: ok
5. go out for a walk if weather is good: 40 tuesday, 50 minutes Wednesday , 56 minutes Thursday Friday 30 minutes
the weather has not been too good, but my 3 years old son started playgroup 2 days a week, so i have to take him and pick him up. I dont drive yet, so i have to walk even if its raining. (*_*)0 -

2 litres of H2O a day
Stay under 1400 cals each day
No adding salt to anything!

Wow, so I feel like this is the end of an era. Forum closing, and moving on to Groups-land is a beautifully bittersweet but exciting adventure all at the same time. Thank you to everyone again for all the birthday wishes. It was a great bd, one that I've been looking forward too for a VERY LONG TIME! (I have a thing for beautiful number symmetry, so this was right up my alley.)
As for my closing out the week goals, let's just say that I MIGHT have over-estimated my ability to stay exercise focused this week. Final count:
Elliptical 1/3
Zumba 2/3 (oddly enough the 2nd one happened on my bd after dinner...probably as a result of my sugar rush and a ridiculous burst of energy)
Yoga .5/1
I already posted next week's goals on the new thread, but I just couldn't let this week finish without closing out my goals here. It's so silly, and it's only been 4 months, but I'm so grateful that this forum has been such a wonderful and ESSENTIAL part of my mfp journey-to-the-healthiest-me. Love this group!!! Love you guys!!!!! Thank you for 4 MONTHS OF AWESOME!!!!0 -

I know the feeling... it's like moving isn't it? Bittersweet.. I'm a private person so the decision to move over has not been an easy one...to say the least. But for those of you I know already... I'll step out on the ledge and give it a shot.. so far, so good!:laugh: :drinker: ..er, um, No one has pushed me off yet... :bigsmile:
