I used to start my day with a plate of eggs and it was great. Tasty and kept me full. But I have started a new job and im having to get up to early to really cook anything. i have been having PB & J sandwiches, but im looking for something better. Preferably something high protein and that i can take on my hour commute and eat at my desk at work, being able to make it the night before would be ideal. Who's got any good ideas?

I should mention i do not like hardboiled eggs.

I now have a longer commute to work as well and started making myself smoothies. I make a batch for the week and then freeze them individually. I take out 1 serving from the freezer and put it in the fridge and it is thawed enough to drink on my way to work the next morning.

I also enjoy eating oatmeal at work. I add walnuts and raisin to it. It keep me full until lunch time and has relatively few calories.

French toast?? You could make it and even freeze it. Or make it the night before. You can have it sweet or savoury too! Hope you get some great ideas

  • I use to make fresh fruit, protein with fiber or veggie smoothies the night before and stick them a container in the freezer. Then in the morning I'd pop it in the blender to make it creamy again (you can add yogurt or juice/milk for that) and voila! All in 5 mins in the am.

Now its fruits, nuts or boiled egg for me if i'm on the go. But you don't like boiled eggs :/
